Skills

We all have skills and aptitudes towards areas of life that are known, qualified and practiced  through daily life.

Many of us have 'yet to be discovered skills,' mainly because there hasn't been the need for them to rise to the surface.  "Necessity is the mother of invention" is a well-known proverb. It means, roughly, that the primary driving force for most new inventions is a need.

The same can be said for discovering new skills.

How do you know if you have the ability to do something new until you try?

What Skills do you have to offer?

Nurse / Doctor / Dentist

Teacher / Child Care

Builder / Carpenter / Painter

In the months and years to come it might, very well be necessary to teach and train others the skills we already possess.

See One, Do One, Teach One  is a useful strategy that combines the benefits of different learning styles. This process comes from the medical model. Medical students typically first see someone put on a splint, then put on a splint, then teach someone else to put on a splint.
